Where can I find cheap bike parts in Los Angeles? |
Main title says it all. People, when i say cheap, i mean something that costs less than an actual bike I got my bike for 70$....well, i guess that explains why i need bike parts. but if the bike was sold that cheap at a department store, then there should be a cheap supplier of the parts something like $100- is good a little more is okay please give me an adress and/or a website Thank You God Bless You Try the tip, the local charities, garage sales and police seized goods auctions. Incomplete bikes and ones with bent wheels come up all the time. You can get them for loose change. Quality is a mixed bag but high end gear does turn up. Throwing $100 at a bike that cost $70 doesn't make sense. Putting good gear on a $70 bike doesn't make sense either. (unless you can get it for a song.) Go to craigslist.com and then go to California then LA on the right hand side then go to bikes (you can even check out the free area first) and see what you see. Or if there are pawn shops in your area go for it. Many times pawn shops don't know what they have and you can really make out like a bandit. Good luck! Experience |
