How much do I need to spend to get my nephew (who is eight) a 20 inch boys bike that will last>? |
I bought a 20 inch bike for 35.00 for retail store and its not very sturdy...chain came of flat tire etc. hes only had since March of this year.. $35.00 ??? A basic tricycle for 3 year olds cost that much! Maybe a few more dollars would have been better if he is an Evel Knievel clone. In any event, no matter what you buy, chains will come off, tires will get punctures, seats will come loose, bikes will get lost. After all, the proud owner is only 8. Good thing these things happen though. Quality time with Dad when repairing the damage is time well spent. He's going to grow out of it fairly soon anyway. Buy one second hand through local ads or a car boot sale. about 100 dollers go to a bike shop not a walmart they will give you the best they can for your buck Try halfords on the net. A good bmx should cost you around 拢60 dun buy for him |
