Taking my cat to the pet store? |
i have a pet store like 10 minutes away. i want to take her by bike. how can i take her? does a bucket help? lol. HLEPP You would have to get a leash. (My cat walks on a leash) There are specially designed ones for small animals (cats, ferrets, etc) Don't just use a collar and leash as the cat can pull away and might injure itself. Now, do you really think the cat should go to the store? Is it like a Petco, or Petsmart where "pets are welcome"? Think about the fact that there might be a number of dogs there. How will your cat react? How will the dogs react? If your cat isn't used to riding on your bike, I would suggest that you don't do it. Or, if you REALLY feel this is something you want to do, place the cat (already in the leash and harness) into a cat carrier like they take to the vets. Otherwise the cat might jump away. Why would you want to take your cat to a pet store? You need to put your cat in a cat carrier. No a bucket will not work at all. The cat will jump out get lost or run over by traffic. Best way is by using a little pet carrier (they are light , nylon, with windows), they are cheap enough. Then put it in a basket. hook a wagon up behind you bike, put the cat in a cat carrier, and pull her that way. lease.............. 10 minute let take a walk your cat NEEDS to be transported in a pet carrier Why would you want to take your cat to a pet store?. Cats should be in a pet carrier for thier safety as well as your own. |
