of it but I live in a condo with no garage so plan to store it when not riding in a storage unit less than a mile from where I live. It's storage with security but wanted to ask other bike owners if this is a good plan? Congrats to you, keep her washed and waxed. In my opinion I would forget about the storage unit for various reasons. Just as well to by a good quality Bike cover(full) ,quality ones are moisture proof and are lockable,maybe have a alarm system installed, I use mine all the time and when I ride out of town I lock it with brake disc locks ,cover it , set the alarm and at night when staying at a hotel, I use a baby monitor under the cover, works great ! Gives me a peace of mind you might say. Of coarse I'm also packin my 38 snub nose. Just remember A Harley - Davidson is an investment and yours is personal and not easy to replace, there's no two alike you can get an inflatable bike garage from Harley, they are just big enough for the bike and you to move it in and out. they work really great Sounds good and Walmart has bike covers for $20 might be a good idea for dust and it might rain when not expected... Some storage have leaky roofs... Excellent bike. It should last you a long time. Just be sure to chain it down in the storage location. Storage lockers have been broken into and the goods taken, sometimes without the property manager's knowledge. If at all possible, store it with a friend or relative in their garage or home. It is much more secure and someone will be able to keep an eye on it. Ride to live. Live to ride. just buy a bike cover before you store it. Congratulations on your new bike ! yes its a good plan if its inside and has 24 hr access and top of the line security . Some nights you may be out later than when it closes and cant get in . Is it a storage place that has only one way in and out are a chain link fence around the perimeter ,Theifs cut fences . Storage places are great if they are set up right .Just measure the good with the bad /peace if you live on the ground floor put it in da house |
