Im after quad bike insurance for the road? |
im after a decent price insurance to cover a 51plate yamaha 660 raptor for use on the road its stored in a brick shed with metal door with a ground anchor and the bike has an alarm and immobilzer. In most areas, quads are not allowed on the public roads, and since they are not, and are not registered or tagged as a result of that, most insurance companies will not cover them for road usage. Look into adding it onto your home owners policy if you're afraid someone might try to steal it. Use of a Raptor on the road is illegal, and therefore you can't insure it that way. Sorry. GEICO sells ATV policies and I think Progressive does too. However, unless you live in a state where you're allowed to drive them on the road, there is no coverage on the policy when you drive them on the road. So you might want to check into that. claims person I use progressive. I found them to be the cheapest. They have a web site at progressive.com. They are strictly web based. |
