Buying a bike? |
i live in summerlin in las vegas and that is right by red rock and i want to buy a bike for some excersise because if i dont ill probably end up getting really fat by the end of the summer and no one wants that!! but i also live near stores n stuff so id want to ride around the town and im on a budget like every1 else and so i need to know wherei can get a good bike for trail riding and also riding on the street and sidewalk that is also cheap i looked on ebay an there was thesenice bikes i like and they were only 199 dollars but they were unassembled and i wasnt sure id be able to do that please help Just today I bought a new Trek 3700 (the woman's version)that was only $309. I already took it for a ride, and I love it. It has front suspension, is aluminum (so it won't rust easily) and it has great tires. Good luck! We need the absolute most you will spend in your budget so we can recommend the best bike for your money. A $200 wont hold up to trail riding, but may on the road. Trek SU200 If you are just going to cruise around, a cheapie is a good start. But for riding trails you will kill a cheapie soon enough. I reckon a 24" Cruiser is a good start. You can ride it without having to worry about gears as it has none. And you still get the mountain bike feel because of its size. But just getting on a bike in the first place is the way to get started. Good for you. :D |
