Sensor replacement for bike (cycling) odometer?

I recently purchased a new odometer (http://www.rei.com/online/store/productd... and lost the sensor that clocks your wheel speed. I don't want to replace the entire odometer...is it possible just to replace the sensor?

I know some manufacturers sell the sensor/wiring harness separately so you can use the same odometer on two or more bikes. Cateye, Specialized and Ciclosport (Germany) do this, maybe Blackburn as well.
Did you lose the actual sensor that connects to the fork or the magnet? If you lost the magnet go to the bike shop and they should be able to help you out.

If it is wireless you might be able to replace the sensor only otherwise, your gonna have to replace the whole thing unfortunately.
