Will rollerblading make my calves more muscular?

I have fairly muscular calves as it is and I would prefer that they not get any bigger. Normally I bike to keep my thighs in shape and this has not caused my calves to get any more muscle. However, I will soon be moving back to school and we are not allowed to store bikes in our dorms. I was thinking of picking up rollerblading, but I am pretty sure that will mostly work my calves.Am I right? Also, any other suggestions for working my legs that won't result in more muscular calves? I am open to suggestions. Thanks!

Cycling uses your calf muscles a lot more than skating does. Though I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as you are doing regular exercise and keeping fit, thats the most important thing. Everyone is built a little differently and thats OK. You have to learn to love your body the way it is. Source(s): B.G.S. (Kinesiology)
Not much. How much mass depends entirely upon how much you are lifting. Since your calves are already holding up your body weight, roller blading will add very little to your calves.

It works your butt more than anything else. When I did it for a while I didn't notice my calves get any bigger.
