Best low priced rain jacket & pants for bike riding ? |
Need name of stores Trust me on this... Think about what you are asking the garment to do... Then understand why it cost what it does and how comfortable you want to be - cold and clammy or misted lightly but OK for class... Source(s): Bike Shop Manager - Top100 Trek retailer I bought a coat and pant combo at REI that I like. Of couse, fit matters a lot to me and this one fit me great. I think each piece was around $50. It's not Gore-Tex but with the large vent in the back it seems to breathe enough for me, I'm comfortable. I ride all year long in rain, wind, and snow and I wouldn't think of riding in rain pants. A jacket yes but pants no. Marmot Precip Jacket....you can use it for everything. biking, hiking whatever...you wouldn't want to bike in pants though, unless you live in the pacific northwest. then you should move to colorado and forget the jacket all together |
