Moving to London from U.S. What is the best burrow/ neighborhood for an active family?

Hi, we have three small children and are looking to move into a nice, middle class neighborhood in or around London with good schools, parks, trees, small restaurants, bike paths, used book stores or small libraries. I have checked on the internet and all the burrows sound wonderful but none of them mention parks or things for children to do.

My husband will be communting to Trafalgar Square for work and we would like his commute to be under 40 minutes. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated! We will have a preliminary 2 week visit to London to set up housing. I am trying to collect as much information as possible ahead of time. Thank you for your time and your answers.

Whilst I warmly welcome you to our island, I can only suggest you go somewhere where they haven't sold out their culture and aspirations like the current government.

Should you come here, I wish you the best and hope you enjoy it.
Whats your budget?, that will help direct your query, Londons a big place.
Are you a family of rabbits?

If so i would avoid busy roads.
Welcome. If you looking for somewhere settle with the kids I would look at schools first. Most areas have good parks etc. sport centres, though if you want cycle paths you might have to widen your range. All boroughs are well served with libraries
40 mins is not going to take you very far out of the centre, so you want to be next to a good tube line.
If you can afford to live in a house then fascilities will be less of a problem. If you want a garden, etc. you'll need to move further out into the suburbs and possibly spend more time commuting.
Most London boroughs are very mixed so there isn't anywhere specifically middle class. There are no good or bad places to be, it's a matter of taste. London is a city and there are more people living near the centre with kids now, but it is still a metropolitan working environment. I personally live about 4 miles from my work area and allow at least 30 mins to get there.
Hope this helps
Try and stay west
I would recommend Richmond,Kew and Chiswick they are still on the tube network
if that's to close to the city then you've got Windsor you can follow the Thames into London from there and find some great towns to live in surrounded by good countryside.
your close to Heathrow there as well which is always use full
stay well away from the East
