Motorcycle batteries - what after-market battery is most likely to be stocked by a local business? |
I'm looking to purchase a battery for my daughter's Honda cmx250c Rebel. It's parked on the veranda and for sale. Put the winter-stored battery in after advertising the bike for sale. Battery not holding a charge and I need to buy a new one real fast. I researched and found the part numbers for 3 different brands: PowerMaster, Yuasa, and Bikemaster. Which one am I most likely to find at a local dealer? My experience, Yuasa is carried by local dealers, even auto parts store. They aren't too expensive and work/last just as well as OEM. There are many other brand batteries that will work.Walmart has the batt.So does sams wholesale call 1800 crank it to get interstate bateries local dealer list they will tell you who is the closest and they offer a nation wide warranty i am a dealer for them Go to WalMart and get the cheapest cuz you're selling it anyways I have always been able to find an after market battery to fit my bike. Go to your local battery dealer/specialist and they can match find a match for most. Usually quite a bit cheaper and with better warranty Yuasa batteries are what's mostly available here. |
