Why does someone always steal my stuff?

My vehicle got broken into at the park attending my friends' wives baby shower. They stole my g/f's purse, cash, my blackberry and my mp3 player. They even took her Altoids breath mints.

6 months ago someone stole my Hummer right in front of my condo (in a nice area near the beach across the street from the fire station and around the corner from the police dept). The only reason I left the truck home is because I wanted to be responsible that evening as I planned on drinking so I took a cab. Truck was gone when I got back.

Last year I had two motorcycles stolen. One was chained/lock to a concrete pole in my friends carport. They stole it while I went to the gym in the morning. It was recovered stripped to the frame. Insurance replaced the bike.

The 2nd one got stolen (a month later) while going into a grocery store to get a gallon of milk.

My other truck got burglarized 2 years ago and they stole my entire CD collection (400 Cd's).

What gives?!

Cops call guys like you a "professional victim". I knew a fellow like you who was mugged about once a month. Always on his payday, always at night, always near a bar, etc. See the trend here. Bad guys aren't as stupid as you think. They watch people, they look for folks who have "stuff" and aren't too careful with it. That chain and lock on the bike; was it just a regular chain and padlock. Those cut like paper with a good bolt cutter. Hummer have a state of the art alarm system in it? Why would you have 400 CDs in your vehicle? If you were going to a baby shower, why would you need your Blackberry and mp3 player? Why didn't you leave them at home.

You are setting yourself up, dude. So far, the bad guys (who now know EVERYTHING about you) have just be taking your stuff. If I were you I would start worrying about my personal safety. You need to start thinking about security. I suspect the bank you work for has a security executive. Talk to him about some tips.
Sounds like you've got a lot of stuff....
You have been listed as an easy target with lots of money and material possessions. The only answer is voluntary poverty.
Sounds like you need to move out of town. :(
Blackberry, mp3 player, Hummer, condo, near the beach, two motorcycles, the gym, milk, 400 cd's...

Are you trying to tell us that you are a young, rich, tan, healthy, in shape dude who goes out to the clubs? Awful descriptive.
I dont believe any of that , but if it is true , you should try to get something a little more secure to put your things in .
thammmm
people like jacking your stuff you better watch out
