Is there a way to resetting a combination lock to get it opened?

I recently purchased a lock for my bike, its a combination lock similar to the ones that Lockers have at school. I put it on my bike without noticing that the lock didnt have a combination to it that i could use to open it. I contacted the store I bought it from ( target) and they said they couldnt do anything. Is there any way to find out what the combination is or resetting the combination?

Yes, pull on the loop part of the lock and turn the dial counter clockwise with your other hand.

As you turn the dial, it will become easy over 1 of the numbers, this is your last number of the combination.

Next, push on the lock and turn again counter clockwise , harder to locate, again it will become easy over 1 of the numbers , this your first number.

Next and most hardest is the middle number and requires you to simply guess. If you pick a range of numbers between the 1st and last number, this is a routine combination. For example 1st number 11 last number 32 the middle number would probably be between 18 - 24 as a educated guess, but would require trial and error.

Good luck
no, you will just have to cut it off.
Sorry but you are going to need to cut it off, if there was a way to reset lock combinations there would be alot of stolen bikes.
Obvious =/
