Motorcycle helmet questions: 2 of them? |
1 - When you go into a store (the Mall for example) what do you do with your helmet? Do you trust that people won't steal it if it's set beside your bike or perhaps in a cargo net? Or do you bring it inside with you? I have a sport bike, so there isn't any storage or much of anything to hook it to. 2 - is there any way to reduce the air coming in through the bottom of the helmet (i have a full face)? thanks and have a good one kids Almost all sport bikes have a lock somewhere for the helmet. Usually you can latch it somwhere under the passenger seat and then close the seat. I usually take my helmet with me. It depends on where I am, what area I'm in. To reduce the wind/wind noise, try this http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/windjamme... I guess you don't have a utility lock on the bike, then you take it with you unless you trust the area. To reduce the air into the helmet......In the summer you will want this but I use an item called a throat coat. it velcro's to the helmet then tucks into your jacket. use the helmet lockers check it in with the valet........ use a bandanna......................... only motorcycle iv had had a lock under the back of the seat for helmets. i always left my extra under the net on the back of the seat. re #1.Under the seat of my previous bikes there was a hook that you could use to attach the helmet to, and it'd be stored there. You'd have to destroy the helmet straps to steal it. re#2. Not that I know of. Have a good day! Definitely dont put it on your head, youre liable to get shot 2. Try wearing a scarf underneath They sell helmet locks that mount onto your frame or anything tubular shaped. Harley has them and I think Kuryakyn does too. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_p... that link will bring you right to the picture and info on it. you can buy it there too |
