How to get rid of love handles and achieve a toned butt?



Ok, I was getting really tired of looking at myself in the mirror. I'm in no way fat, but I'm not toned and do have problem areas that are obvious, probably moreso to myself though. There is a Planet Fitness that just opened up 5 minutes away from me so I joined. My problem areas are my hips (that's where I store most of my fat), my butt, and the insides of my thighs. The thighs are probably the least of my worries though since they just need to be toned, not lose any weight. But I have some massive cellulite on my butt that needs to be reduced tremendously.

For my workout, I'm doing 30 minutes of cardio (bike and treadmill), then doing the many machines they have including one for leg curls (butt), stomach crunches (abdominals and hips), and one that keeps my upper body still while I swing my lower body left to right (hips). I was hoping that would help my hips slim down.

Are these good choices to target those specific areas? I've been doing 4 reps of 20 every other day.

well i think i could help since thats were im most toned. well first you need a lot of cardio, i would reccomend jogging at the park and cadio that moves your legs, kick boxing classes really help, they probably have classes. To get you legs toned all you need to do is squats, do them every other day to get them real toned quicker. muscles grow while resting and not wear out. Do 50- 80 squats since you are a begginer, do like 4 sets of 20 but do them really slow when raising to really feel the burn. Its all in the head nd dont pay attention to the burn, you might get sored the first week of doing this but dont stop, do it every other day and you will be fine. Cardio can be done daily so thats no problem ^_^ good luck

To tone your butt do lunges and squats. To lose the fat covering the sides (love handles) do cardio. To lose cellulite, you need to reduce your body fat %. Notice how female bodybuliders dont have cellulite? Just lower your body fat and lift weights. The muscles will grow and smooth out the fat=reduced cellulite. Also stay away from processed foods and drink eight glasses of water a day. This helps cleanse toxins from your body. My doctor told me theres no need to buy these fancy detox kits. Just eat fresh friuts and vegetables. Ask your gym if a Personal Trainer can give you a workout plan for free. Most gyms will give you a free session.
