Where can I get a new Kryptonite evolution 2000 key, either buy or made? |
I have an Evolution 2000 lock on my bike and I can't figure a way to open it, since I lost the key. I need to get a key made, but I don't have a serial number. Can just go to my local Ace hardware store????? no man... They can either make a copy of the key, or replace it by the number on the key. Whe you bought the lock, if you wrote down the number on the key, you can give kryptonite a call, order that key number, and they'll send you one. If you don't have a spare or that number you're out of luck.. sorry good luck Source(s): work in a bike shop No. Unfortunatelly not, but if you register your key number and you lose your keys or they become too worn to work properly, Kryptonite can replace them for a minimal fee. Try to find the serial number on the package, but if you don't have it you can mail it to them and buy a replacement. See the link below... https://www.kryptonitelock.com/customers... You're outta luck without a serial number. The only place to replace the key is through Kryptonite. You might have to cut it. Good luck. |
