Kinda long but I need to know what I did was right? |
I went over to my ex's house to pick up my son and there house was freezing cold. She has 2 kids from her husband and one from me. Her husband and her where on the phone arguing because he wont save money to fix there heating problem. He bought him self a camaro and wants to buy some dirt bikes. So I got pissed and took my kid to the store and bought a box of the 3 hr fire logs for them. I did it because I dont want my kid freezing in that house plus I felt sorry for the family being cold. Now the husband is accusing me for trying to take his family but my son lives there what am I suppose to do? Plus I had to give them 100 dollars just so they can have food. Now Im the bad guy did I do wrong or what? She is on my side and thinks im sweet I told them both that I bought it so my son wont freeze. IF only there were more guys out there like you. Most guys would just pick their own kid up and leave. You did the right and the honorable thing. Her husband is ticked off because he can not be the man and take care of what he needs too. He is mad also because he knows what you did is the right thing and he can not admit to it. Your child should not be in a home without heat and food. Talk to your ex about this...and make it clear it will not happen again. If you must, get the authorities involved. Children should not suffer because their lame dad wants to spend all the money on stupid stuff. Call HHS and turn them in. Then sue for custody of your son. You'll win. make a big effort to keep your own son. that way you can take care of him how you want and not worry about it. call social services .... and the utility company.. the utility company will usually havean emergency repair program especially for people who need the help. then go lay the smackdown on the husband for being such an idiot. Of course you didn't o wrong. You did what any other father wouldI do try and get custody of your son. It sounds like bad living conditions for him Your coming in to rescue the family showed how irresponsible the guy is! You did well to help. DON'T regret pal!! You did the right thing,I would have done the same,your looking out for the best interests for your child,nothing wrong in that. |
