Hello! everyone. Have you ever been to other countries?

If yes, which countries?

and what is the most impressive stuff you saw or
what is your most interesting experience?
My question's point is about culture shock.

For example, I have been to Japan.
I bought a ticket, and after I got my ticket, the lady STOOD UP and BOWED. WOW! she was so polite. and almost every store in Japan was the same polite attitude.

Another is that they like to use bikes as their transportation tool and take subway.

This is my experience.
What about yours!!

Yes, My daughter and I went to Mexico on an all inclusive package which included Hotel, airfare, drinks (including alcohol) meals and tips. We stayed at The Grand Coco Bay resort in Riviera Maya close to Playa Del Carmen. We had a wonderful time but the best thing was, we got to swim with the Dolphins, it was so awesome! If I ever get back to Mexico I am going to do it again. We also took a trip to chechanetza, to the Mayan pyramids, a very long trip but it was worth every minute, about an 11 hour trip. Everyone was so nice to us and the shopping is great!
I will start this off by saying that I am from the south (with heavy southern accent) and when I was working in North Dakota I drove up into Winnipeg Canada. I didn't notice too much difference other than the speed limits being in kilometers, and the currency difference confused me... several little shops I went into their were some women that just wanted to hear me talk.... they loved my accent they said.. LOL
well the only other country ive been is here in australia...i like the way they greet you with saying "hi how are you" or "hey hows it going"....you dont get that from my country...australian people are so friendly...also you dont beep you car horn because they think its really really rude...kinda feels like a level higher than my country...

and its a good thing coz im staying here for good :)
I am traveling quite a lot around the world, and I have to admit, that I had the most beautiful memories about all Asia, especially Cambodia. I have to admit, that I was quite skeptic when I went there, knowing, that they had been in the war and that they are still a very poor country. In spite of that, the people I meet were very kind and help full. Also Thailand is a nice Country, but for me, they are too many tourist walking around, so you don't get to feel the local habits and the real living, which is my goal on each tour I make.
I am from central America, and my best experience was to be in Rome, that impressed me, all that monuments, sculptures, arches etc. the whole site is a museum
Norway has the most down to earth, friendly people. Great train system, too - you'd think you bought a first class seat! Italy has the most interesting people and romantic places and the BEST food. France is too touristy. Central Slovakia is quite beautiful in the summertime.
Lived in Japan for three years

others include:

Hong Kong, Korea, Canada, Mexico, Soviet Union, Australia. Working on getting to Europe next.
