What is a good Women鈥檚 bicycle? |
I鈥檓 considering purchasing a bicycle. I鈥檓 interested in a women鈥檚 bike for casual use only. I do not require anything too fancy or sporty. I just want something that I can get on to ride up to the local coffee house or grocery store. I went online, but there are too many choices and was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a novice such as myself? There are a large number of women鈥檚 specific bikes on the market, as you well know. Specialized is a good manufacture that makes bikes designed for women. If this is your first bike be sure to go to your local bike shop and talk to them about sizing and about the women鈥檚 specific bikes. Be sure to go to several bike shops and check out their bikes. Most bike shops only sell good bikes, and they also offer free tune ups so it鈥檚 a good deal. Depending on your size you might fit on a men鈥檚 bike, if you go to a good shop they will measure you and get you on the right size. It鈥檚 very important to feel comfortable on your bike so don鈥檛 shy away from getting a good fitting.
