How much does a bicycle cost in england? |
I know in the US we have stores that sell everything at cheap prices like Wall-Mart. I can get a bike for about $50 american. Does the UK have a store like Wall-Mart and how much would a descent one cost me? Best place to get a really cheap bike is somewhere called Halfords. They are a car acessory chain but they also sell bikes. They do some at around 拢70 (circa $110 USD. If you want a decent bike you can pay around 拢300 for a decent servicable bike. Another place to look is Evans Cycles. They are a London based chain and have some cheap bikes but more mid-price to expensive. You may want to try Argos as well. They are a catalogue chain and have stores all over the country. They sometimes have bikes and they are really cheap. Obviously buying a cheap bike has the associated risk of it being crap! |
