Why don't you use a bicycle to get around? |
Too lazy? Habituated to a motor car? Can't balance? Too dangerous? Too many hills? Climate not conducive? Nowhere to store the bike? Keep on breaking down? Not practical? Never even considered this ancient mode of transport? State whereabouts you live please. I do, Not lazy I ain't Lance Armstrong but I could do over 60+ miles a week using my bicycle. Prefer it to driving. Balance is no problem once you keep moving. Its the roads are dangerous not the rider. Hills? I look for mountains to cycle up. Climate wise its ok once you wear the relevant gear. Bicycle is stored in my bike shed. Breaking downs are few if you keep the bike maintained and carry a repair kit. Its very practical. I wouldn't even consider swopping my bicycle for the NASA space shuttle. Live in Ireland between hills and mountains. Thank you for asking. because you are lazy Cars are soooo much more convenient. They also keep you in a privacy shell. I live in California, but it would only be practical here about 2/3 of the year. I definitely would, except for the fact that I work 50 miles away from home. I already have to leave over an hour to get to work on time! I might as well just stay at work!!! Are you kidding? I live in New York City, I'd die before I get to the end of the block. I live near myrtle beach south carolina I would ride a bike but its not that practical. If everything was closer in proximity I would def ride a bike. Plus you dont have to worry about bikes polluting the air and you dont have to worry aobut gas prices. People in Europe ride bikes for transportation. I knew some people in Holland and they said they rode bikes. Too sodding dangerous, especially around here. |
