What movie is this...? *80's "thriller/horror" movie? |
OK, there is a movie from the 80's, I believe. It's starts off with a woman who stops into a store, and there's a little boy playing an arcade home. As she is leaving, she runs over his bicycle and gives him a ride home. His house is made for a child; there are cartoons constantly on the TV, etc. His mother seems super happy and does whatever the boy asks. I remember that he is showing the woman around and he opens a door and a girl is sitting with her back to them...The camera pans out and she doesn't have a mouth. Come to find out, the boy has pyschic powers and can do things with his mind....Does anyone know what movie this is? Stacy Keech played the guy they kidnap for a father figure. And Samatha Egar was the lady they took for a mom. there was also a tv show; one of the episodes of it had a similar plot. I think it was one of the Twilight Zone episodes. And the guy who starred in the original Invasion of the body Snatchers was in that one. Twilight Zone: The Movie has a few stories in it. This is one of them. Another is the classic chimp-like monster on the airplane which has been spoofed many times over by the likes of The Simpsons and other TV shows/Movies. it's one of four stories from Twilight Zone the movie That's one of the stories from Twilight Zone The Movie (1983) It's the 3rd out of 4 stories picked for the movie. It's based on Twilight Zone episode where everyone obeys the little boy, Anthony, or else he does stuff to them when all he wants is a friend. ;) great story |
