Where do you buy your innertubes? |
Although I LOVE my local bicycle shop, I've come to realize that lots of things are so much cheaper bought on line. So after paying way too much money on innertubes way to often I took a look online to buy them in bulk, but wanted your opinion before trying someone new out. Where do you get your tubes? Try this.... http://www.nashbar.com/ I bought a cycling shirt for my brother-in-law on this site. Not sure about parts, but give it a try. Source(s): http://www.nashbar.com/ mostly tire shops. it depends. i dont use many tubes. every once in a blue moon i will get a flat. if i just need a tube or two and am not ordering anything i just go local. yeah, the catalogs are cheaper but by the time you pay shipping it isnt really cheaper. also i notice to get the lighter tubes the catalogs dont have them. bontrager has a 75gm tube out, and rotational weight is something i try to keep down. my local trek store has them for 7.99 each, and like i said, i dont use that many. Nashbar is a good choice. See if you have a Performance Bike Shop in your neighborhood. They usually have good prices on tubes. They also have a website so you can order online. I did buy from Mountain coop store , bike shops , Canadian tire , but since I run Schwalbe Marathon tires I do not need so many inner tubes . There is another high quality tires from Panaracer , Bondrager , Michelin , Continentals and I do recomend it . You want nice ride and to be tire defect free . Try performancebike.com or bikenashbar.com |
