Birthday Gift Ideas for my Husband?

My hubby really likes working on bikes (bycycles) and has always dreamed of having his own bike shop some day. But he never has time to even build the one he's been working on since before we moved in together. Whenever we move, we always move half a bike :)
So I was thinking that for his birthday I would buy him all the parts he needs to finish building his bike to help motivate him to work on his hobby more. Does that sound like a good idea or is it dumb?

I think it's a great idea. I think it would be cool, too, to have a sign made up for the garage, just to hang on the wall, "___'s Bike Repair." Any sign shop could make one rather inexpensively for you.
sounds like a good idea.
It sound great! If your husband really likes bikes and enjoys working on them I am sure he will be greatly happy when he see's you bought him hte oarts he needs and I am sure you will have a good time that night! lol. (Im serious)
ANTDOG
DOES HE LIKE SPORTS? IF HE DOES WHAT IS HIS FAVORITE PLAYER OR RACER! IF HE LIKES A CERTAIN BRAND OF CLOTHES THINK OF THAT FOR A CHANGE!
It sounds like a good idea. But what if you don't know what exactly to get him? What I would do is take him to a bike shop and let him choose what bycicle parts he wants and tell him before hand it's a birthday present and he can get whatever parts he wants for his bike. And take him out to dinner. A man loves meat. Unless he's a vegetarian. This is what I least think. If you don't think it's a good idea that's ok. I would understand too.
That sounds great! As long as you know the parts that he needs. Maybe if you have an extra space in your house like a basement/garage/attic etc, you could even make him a little shop too. You know, display his tools, set up his bike books/maps...etc. Then he will have everything he needs including the space to finish the job!
