Are all the new XTR derailleurs Rapid rise?


every XTR mech ive seen is a rapid rise. is that all they come in? can i get a replacement spring to change a rapid rise to a normal rise? my bike shop has an 06 XTR on sale, but i dont want rapid rise.

Yes, according to the Shimano website, all are "top normal return", or Rapid Rise. Here is the specific page...

No i don't think they are if you take a look on
www.chainreactioncycles.co.uk they have the the full xtr range and I'll think you will find that not all of the xtr range are rapid rise.
