How do i rebuild a 32 spoke 3x wheel? |
im taking my mavic x223 wheelset apart to paint the spokes (call me stupid, but i have nothing else better to do. i never liked the silver spokes anyway). i need very detailed instructions on how to rebuild the 3 cross pattern with 32 spokes. i tried sheldon brown, but i had to redo an entire 36 spoke wheel 3 times before i got it right (i had help from a bike shop too). i need something that explains how to properly dish the wheels also cuz i have disc brakes. i need something online. i dont want to buy a book to build only 2 wheels. serious answer only please Remove and paint one or two spokes at time. Do this 16 times and you will be done. try to get the measurements and design and tensions from it as you take it apart |
