Data flow diagram question...? |
I am designing a context-level data flow diagram for a bike hire company. Can anyone help me come up with a list of processes and external entities for this company? The details: 鈥hen someone comes in to the shop and wants to hire a bike one of the mechanics is called to suggest a bike suitable to their needs, and the bike is wheeled out. The chosen bike鈥檚 number, which is stencilled on the bike, is used to look up the bike card. There is a card for each bike, and these are kept under the counter in the shop in bike number order. 鈥sing the bike card the cost of hire is calculated, including a damage deposit, and the customer is informed 鈥hould the customer want to proceed with the hire, a receipt is filled in a multi-part receipt book and the top copy is given to the customer when they have paid for the hire. 鈥hen the bike is returned it is checked for damages etc. 鈥t is the mechanic鈥檚 job to check new bikes entering stock from the suppliers.
