Lost the power at >50km/hour speed.? |
When the bike ( Virago 535 ) drive over then 50km/hour, the engine's power is lost also the engine is off, when the gas cable is turned back the engine is on again, could some one let me know what i have to do with my bike, i have no mechine shop at my city. I had a problem like that with my gixxer... It ended up being that the motor was pulling more fuel from the tank than air was getting in..VAPOR LOCK. I had to find out in a 60mph corner unfortunately. Take a pipe cleaner and under the tank cover and clean out your breather line. could be you got some contaminated fuel... take the tank of clean it out.. clean the carbies & get some new fuel... then try it... Clean your carburator and point or maybe change the point... change your spark plugs and check the wiring. you'r losing your power because of disconnection of current which passes through wiring to spark plugs. |
