British consumer laws- please help, I'm desperate!?

I've asked a question, link below, please read it thoroughly before answering. Please only answer if you actually know what the law is and where I would stand. I need to know because the manager of the shop is phoning me tomorrow, which doesn't give me any time to contact Citizen's Advice. I've tried looking on the internet but it doesn't actually tell me where I stand in the event of a six month old bike where I think there's a problem and the mechanics say there's nothing wrong with it.
Click the link below for full details.
Many thanks for your help.

Provided it is within the guarentee/warranty period, and provided the fault was not brought on by yourself, also provided that the fault complies with the companies returns policy, and you can prove it is actually a faulty product, then there shouldn't be much of a problem, and you should be entitled to a full refund.
