I have a 2001 Mazda B4000 v6. What is the clicking noise I hear when I hit the gas hard? its the trani wht pt? |
It sounds like a playing card in the spokes of a bike wheel. I don't notice a difference in performance really. I live in Ohio and I never really heard because it was cold out side. I was just wondering what it might tube before I took it to the shop and get taken to the cleaners while I'm out. The truck shifts fine form gear to gear. It only does it when I'm accelerating hard.only does it when I'm accelerating hard. Hey you should try the timming chain It is probably your valves. You might have some future problems. Baby it a little and you should get some more miles out of it. Pre-ignition(knocking). Put a higher octane gas in the tank. That clicking noise is the money you spent foolishly sliding down the rat hole. Buy Toyota and save a bundle. Greg |
