What city to stay in, in Door County, Wisconsin? |
I visited about 15 years ago, but now we live in WI again. We are traveling for a quick weekend away, but don't know which city to stay in. We want to wander through little shops, go down to a beach, and likely take a carriage ride. Possibly take a bike ride. Is any one city in Door County better than another? I just got back from a weekend in Door County. We stayed in Ephraim which was perfectly located to drive up and down the bay side of the county. Fish Creek and Sister Bay would be my next choices. If you stay somewhere in the middle of the bay side like that you can get to any of the other towns very easily. Fish Creek and Ephriam are on either side of Peninsula State Park, with bike rentals available right outside the park. My friends who have been to Door County steered me towards Ephraim or Sister Bay, and I think it turned out great! Source(s): www.doorcounty.com Window city. U should just go to Miami.
