I slipped and fell at wal-mart!? |
Hi. On Monday May 21, 2007 I was walking in Wal-Mart in the milk area. Not noticing it was a milk spill I slipped and fell to my knees. They didn't have up no wet sign or nothng. If it wasn't for the shopping kart I would have injuried my leg badder than it is now like broke it. After that I spoke with a manager there. I filled out an accident report. I couldn't see my doctor until Thursday May 24, 2007. My doctor said it was a muscle spasm and he gave me medication for it. To be honest it doesn't feel like a muscle spasm. Every morning this week when I wake up it's like I can't hardly get out of bed. I can't stand on my leg too long. Anyway I was wondering was this a case or what. I don't want to sue Wal-Mart. But I can't even ride my bike or clean up like I want to because of this. What should I do? The same thing happened to my uncle and he began having seizures...we really couldnt do a thing about it except worry about him...no one was there with him(no family) and only people to witness it was the people shopping around him...so no one still doesn't kow what really happened...it was about 5 months ago and he is good...i hope your problem is solved.. -CCR Source(s): me Hell, I say sue them. If it's preventing you from your daily life, you have a right, an obligation. If you hire a good lawyer, you probably will win because Walmart was obviously negligent. Good Luck! Go to another doctor. Get another opinion. If you cant work you do need to call a Lawyer. You're consience and medical condition / bills will solve this problem for you. A muscle spasm takes time to heal. If you think there is something else, then have the doctor take xrays. If they already did and nothing was broken, then nothing is broken. Rest your leg and be patient. Make sure you give copies of your medical bills to the manager at WalMart. They will pay for it. Don't be greedy. If your still in pain! I think you should go to another doctor for a second opinion! Good luck I hope you feel better, because knee pain is no joke! |
