What is the best christmas present that you ever got??? |
im doing my christmas shopping now, and want to know what every body likes what would a 10-15 yr old like (legos, zometool, basketball, bike, candy, etc...) The best Christmas gift I ever got...Flying lesson in an airplane, juggling balls, Barbie Dream House when I was about 10. I, too, am starting my christmas shopping now - primarily because I see that the complete Pinky and the Brain is available on DVD along with the complete Animaniacs, and I know just who will love that! Your questions on kids greatly depends upon their sex. If they are boys, they will want something "cool" a popular video game, skate board, time at a paintball facility with their favorite adult male. Something easy and science based might be fun (like build your own robot wars robot sort of thing). If they are girls, they will want something fashionable or grown up. Jewelry, music, an afternoon of lunch and shopping with a favorite aunt. Girls toward the low end of the spectrum might like artsy crafty things (how to make friendship bracelets or some such) while the older girl would more likely want a gift certificate for music. You can also check out Toys R Us online to find ideas for kids by ages: http://www.amazon.com/b/104-9390199-0013... Of course, you know what these kids are into. Stick with their interests or introduce them to your own to make that special connection. Every kid (heck, everyone) loves to hear "this is my favorite thing in the whole world and I thought you would like to have it" or "this book totally changed my life and I wanted to share it with you". Peace, and Merry Christmas! never gotten a christmas present before but i've gotten a 45 $ gift certificate to best buy for hannuka *_* umm i think i would no My son would want a gift certificate to Game Stop of Babbagees. He's 12. We like the game Apples To Apples for kids that age & adults. The September issue of Family Fun always has been a safe article for me to shop with. Their toys awards come out. You wouldn't believe how much time and work goes into this issue. They have 100's of toys to offer 4 categories of kids. We still enjoy shopping using the magazine. We feel we didn't waste our money. What is he into? Sports - get his favorite team t-shirt or hat. A football or basket ball depending on what he likes to play. Dvd of current movies is usually a hit. Something like Ice Age or Ice Age 2. Candy is typically good but you need to know what type he likes. Look for something cool that you see around, typically electronics are a hit. Maby a remote controlled car. I got some that were about 2" long. Those were awsome. Given the age and depending on the child perhaps a pocket knife. I know the school will probably have a fit but I was given my first in 3rd grade and have carried one nearly every day since. (My teachers knew and there was never issues but that was a number of years ago. A few teachers even asked to use it on occasion.) Just give him a gift certificate to the mall. http://fao.com/catalog/product.jsp?produ... http://fao.com/catalog/product.jsp?produ... http://fao.com/catalog/product.jsp?produ... http://www.fao.com/catalog/product.jsp?p... http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/ |
