Generally how much money would be suitable for two days in Nassau? |
I'm thinking of taking a cruise in Nov., which will dock in Nassau for 2 days, to entertain me for two days how much would be good? I'm intrested in average prices at places like the open markets, and local shops and eaterys. Let's see if you went to Venice or Santa Monica Beach,CA less than $100 will feed you, get you some pretty cool trinkets, clothes, etc, and maybe a bike or rollerblade rental. How would prices in Nassau compare? I'd say $150. Food is kinda high. Alcohol is hella cheap. And transportation outside of the bus is kinda steep as well. Otherwise you should be good with minimal funds. It's no New York City. And you can barter with locals for any souvenirs you wanna pick up. I'll be there next weekend visiting my boyfriend. I'll show ya around... If you can get by on $100 in Venice, you should be able to in Nassau, also. I'm sure some people would spend more. And some people would enjoy the sun on a park bench and eat the cheapest food from the local food carts- and maybe enjoy it more. shop around spend your money wisely the straw market you can haggle your prices on touristy stuff the food was a little expensive took a picture at the sbarros pizzza place for my wifes father who also owns a pizza shop plain cheese pizza was around $18.00 if thats a hint When I was in Nassau I thought that it was very expensive. But we ended up with a few of the locals and they took us away from the tourist area and it was very reasonable. I'm not certain but it seemed like there was a wide range in prices and I'm not sure that we would have known about the reasonably priced food and drink without the assistance of one of the locals. |
