For those who have been to Sevilla...or other places in Spain...?

do you think a 17 year old girl would have fun in Sevilla, Spain for 4 weeks in the summer...or would it get boring? I'd be going with an organized summer program. There are programs in pretty much anywhere you can think of in Spain but Sevilla sounded nice but if there is a city that you think that would be more exciting, let me know...(I like shopping, going to parties, going to the beach but I am not very adventurous..don't enjoy things like kayaking and biking) THANKS!

I am sure you will have fun in Sevilla. Spain is great. They always party, party, party....Life is so good in Spain.
As an organized summer program in Sevilla I am sure you will get plenty of activities and exploration time etc.

Sevilla is not close though to a beach....but then on the other hand thousands of tourists will hang out at the beach and you couldn't really get to know the spanish people like you will in Sevilla.

BTW...depending what month you will go in the summer it's going to be very HOT in Sevilla and most places do not have A/C

I went to Spain for about two weeks and traveled around the entire country-from Madrid to Barcelona-when I was 16. I absolutely LOVED Spain and I can't wait to go back. Be prepared for lots of seafood and bread. The dairy and all beverages are served at room temperature.

I thoroughly enjoyed Barcelona. The weather was hot-in the 90's-but the ocean was still very brisk. I walked down to the oceanside strip every day. There were clubs everywhere; parties in our hotel every night. When I went a few years ago, I went into the bars and partied even though I was only 16 at the time.

Things may have changed since then. But I will definitely say Barcelona was the most exciting and fun place in Spain for a teenage girl.
