How would I mount a 3.5 hp briggs and straton engine on a Bicycle?

I wanted to mount a horizontal shaft 3.5 briggs and straton engine on my Huffy full size bike. I can weld so the fabrication part wouldn't be to hard...just need some fresh ideas. thanks.

There used to be a kit in the 60s to do just that.

Find those blueprints, and you will have an eaiser time of it.

The best add on solution I have seen is to hang the engine over the back wheel so that the weight of the engine makes a friction drive onto the wheel.

To keep the thing balanced you probably need another shaft all the way underneath the engine driven by a belt or chain. with a bearing at each end fixed to the engine casing.
