Question to Christians about street witnessing, part 2 ?

Why doesn't a Christian sign on a bicycle or on a street corner produce the following results anymore? And why doesn't God bring judgment on those who ridicule Christianity?

Sin Stifled

"The entrance of thy word giveth light."

Sin is done in darkness both spiritual and, many times, literal. When someone shines a spotlight on the activities of sin, the rats tend to run and hide.

I know from many years of experience on the street, that sin can be hampered, stifled, kept in its hiding place, and at a bare minimum, if the light of the glorious gospel of Christ is consistently shined on the public streets.

Many Pastors have complained to us about the spiritually cold conditions of their cities, and that the blatantcy of sin is so prevalent. My reply, drawing from experiences pastoring a church with a street ministry, is that we preachers have been given charge of the spiritual heaters and lights. We will be held responsible for the amount of spiritual warmth and visibility in our communities.

I have seen many bars closed as a result of consistent public witness against them. I have seen lesbian bars and queer bars boarded up for Jesus. I have personally witnessed a demonstration of 150 homosexuals against the laws and legislation of the State of Florida foiled and squelched because there were some preachers willing to stand in the gap. I have watched the activities of homosexual churches be drastically altered as a result of public preaching. I have seen governors, legislators, and supreme court judges forced to publicly choose whether to identify with Jesus Christ or to deny Him.

Do you have a particular problem in your community? What have you got to lose by trying to solve it with a public witness?

I'm a christian leader who doesnt necessarily think the right way is street preaching. As the world moves, so do the methods that christians must use to reach out to those in the community and those who do not have christ in their life. I believe strongly in reaching out to the community but street witnessing is not as effective as it used to be and in my many years experience I have found other better ways to reach the lost publicly. We have to remain relevant to the times, and the changing attitudes of society and to seek God on the best way to reach people as time goes on.

Your a disgrace for a human being. That Island I mention where we put fundies and stuff and lock them away for life... you should go there. You are trying to control people, destroy freedom of being who one is. Your sick and depraved. I bet you are one of the biggest sinners of all. However taking it out on others makes you not see yourself.

We preach on the street and visit in homes all the time..
Why shouldn't we use the word queer, they have a group that they named themselves "Queer Nation" .. We didn't name them.

How do you progressively hide all your sin? You are not to say what is a sin what is not. Get a life man. That would be a start for you. Somehow I bet you get off on sinning.

We are living in the last days. Read up in Daniel and Revelation. These things were predicted many years ago.

"No man can come to Me unless the Father draw him." These are the words of Jesus. The only problem I have with street witnessing is that unless the Father draw him, the person cannot come to Jesus anyway. To me we witness to those that God has placed in our path. God opens the door for our witness. Unless God commands us to do this, it is futile anyway.

Here's some ideas for you...

Don't like gay sex? Don't have any.

Don't like abortions? Don't have one.

Don't like witchcraft? Don't practice it.

These, and many other ideas, were brought to you free of charge by a nation who has grown tired of the American Taliban, commonly called Christians. These, and other helpful hints, should help you continue to live your life in the dark ages, while the rest of us choose to progress.

Anyway of preaching is the right way! as long as it is done love of Christ Jesus. God will determine how effective your witnessing will be.
